Eyelash Curls, Thicknesses, and Lengths
The curvature, thickness, and length of the lashes in a set are contingent on the look you want. There are three types of eyelash extensions available: silk, synthetic and mink. At Lash Perfect we use only top-quality synthetic lashes. Our mink lashes are manufactured as well as ethical and hygienic. They are referred to as ‘mink’ because of their soft texture.

CURLS
Lash curls are described by letters. For instance the curl ‘C’ is among the most well-known curls because it provides natural lift to the lashes and is appropriate for all types of natural lashes.
Lash Perfect provides a variety of curls that create an unique style that can meet the needs of different people.
A Few Things to Consider:
You’ve chosen the kind of eyelash extensions that you’d like however, that’s just the beginning. To get a balanced look, you’ll need be aware of what length and thickness, and curly type you’re looking for. We have created an easy guideline to take the salon to an appointment.
1. Volume and Thickness
The volume and the thickness of your extensions can transform the look from subtle to glam in just a few seconds. The thicker your lashes the more dramatic they’ll appear. (Thicker mascara can make your natural lashes appear heavier this is something to take into consideration if you’ve got weak or thin lashes.)
To give you an idea, the typical thickness of lash extensions can range between .05mm up to .25mm. It all depends on your personal preferences and what your eyelash specialist suggests. “It’s all dependent on the individual as every eye’s shape and requirements differ. Lash extensions aren’t as common with strip lashes. Because of the way they’re put on They aren’t an exact size for everyone,” she adds.
In the case of volume the issue is the way your lashes get put together. The traditional method is to attach an extension on each eyelash. To increase the volume the individual lashes may be grouped to form an “fan” (or “cluster”) “cluster”) to cover each eyelash.
A number is linked to an alphabet D (which refers to the dimension) to determine the number of eyelashes are combined in each cluster or fan (i.e. 2D is the equivalent of two lashes for each fan). If you are looking for more natural-looking lashes the 2D range to 4D is the best option. If you’re looking for a more dramatic lash you can try 4D or 9D (anything that goes beyond 5D will be quite obvious).
2. Length
As with volume and thickness length can vary based on how dramatic you would like your lashes to appear. The longer the lash is, the more striking the style. The trick is to choose the length that isn’t too long. If you opt for a length that is too long you’re more likely you’ll damage the natural lashes that may stop them developing or cause irritation. Many lash experts advise you to opt for a length of not more than 3mm or 5mm more than your actual lashes.
3. Curl Titles
The curly types are based on their form–from the least natural to the curliest. And they are identified by letters the letters are J, B C, D, and L.J It is by far the most natural of the curly varieties. It provides volume and a mild curl that isn’t overly obvious. J curl is ideal for those with naturally straight lashes which have a straight, downward or upward direction.
Similar to J however B is slightly curlier. If you’re looking for a subtle lift, you can try the B curl’s is a cult favorite that is compatible with every eye shape. This style gives an expansive and more full-bodied appearance is for dramatic and has the capital D. If you’ve got natural curls, it may be the ideal style for you.
L has the strongest curly curl. It is a huge lift to the lash that begins with a straight base, and is curled upwards as it grows towards the edges. This style is best suited on lids that are hooded and monolids.

Types of Eyes and Eye Lashes.
Almond Eyes
The almond eye is the most popular eye shape. They’re twice larger than they are tall, which makes the perfect eye shape that is able to support almost any lash style.”This form is considered to be the best and sought-after appearance,” says Richardson. “When the eyes of an almond are present, you have greater flexibility in terms of the shape. Clients can opt for around or even cat-eye.”
“I would suggest you ask for a more traditional C curl that isn’t too curly or loose. You’re really in the hands of your imagination with this one, depending on the style you’re after!” Buhler says. Buhler who suggests professionals to use a cat’s eye on people who wish to lengthen their natural look or “an open eye for those who want to enhance their face.”
Hooded Eyes
Hooded eyes or monolids–are lids that do not have a liner. A lid that is hooded can appear quite heavy, appearing as if it’s trying to “swallow” the eyelash line beneath it. “You’ll need to lift lids with hoods to break an elongated lash line” Buhler says. Buhler she suggests the L and L+ types of lashes.
“These are special mascaras that have a unidirectional base with a pronounced curly lash that extend from underneath the lid and lift the lash line, which makes the eyes appear brighter as well as fresh.”Patients with hooded eyes must request longer lengths eyelash to be placed on an eye’s mid-outer and also for the technician to make use of the curliest lash that is available.
“The curliest lashes that are available are those with a D/L/ and an L+ curl. This curlier curl is able eyes to truly expand!” says Buhler. The client’s preference will determine the look. Richardson advises that you opt for a cat-eye or open-eye style.
She warns to avoid “anything too curly can make the lashes appear too curly to the eye.”The two most commonly used kinds of lash extensions are Classic and Volume extensions for lashes. Classic sets are similar to the look of mascara, while Volume extensions tend to be more of a thick and dramatic appearance.
Round Eyes
“Round eyes are open and alert, however, when they are styled wrong they could be a surprise,” says Buhler. If you’re a client with this type of eye she suggests having a smaller curled lash. This is because the longest lengths towards the middle of the eye, similar to the cat-eye look. “In terms of lashes it’s a lash that is B curled.
This assists in shaping the eye into more of an almond-shaped shape.”To lessen the intensity, Buhler says to ask the technician to use shorter lengths that are looser in curl (like a B curly). “This reduces the shape of the eye and gives the illusion of an almond,” she says.
