We will keep the coronavirus travel restriction as up as we can in accordance with the guidelines provided by the UK Government. The last update was on February 11, 2022. Since May we’ve been following the traffic lights system for travel, with new countries being added and removed at least every 3 weeks. But, as of the 4th of October there won’t be green and amber lists, but that red one will be in place. What are the guidelines for countries that aren’t listed on this list?
That is dependent on the vaccination status of your child! For the red list nations, rules remain the same as they were before. Portsmouth Taxi, we will list the latest coronavirus travel restriction regulations!

All vaccine-free travelers from non-red list countries:
- You’ll have to fill out the form for locating your passengers. It must be completed at least 48 hours prior to the time of your arrival.
- It is not necessary to take an COVID-19 test prior to or after you arrive in England.
- There is no need to quarantine your arrival in England.
Be aware that you’ll need to show that you’ve been vaccinated for at least 14 days prior to the date you plan to travel. You can prove this with a photocopy of the paper or digital NHS COVID pass.
- The pass must contain the following information:
- Your last and first names must be Southampton Taxi to the name on your passport.
- Birth date
- The brand name of the vaccine as well as the manufacturer of it
- The date you received each dose
- The country in which it was presented
In the event that your NHS Covid Pass doesn’t list one of these, or the information isn’t correct You’ll need to adhere to the guidelines for travelers who are not vaccinated. If you don’t adhere to these rules, you won’t be permitted to board.

Non Immunized Travelers from non-red list countries:
If you’re not vaccine-free, or are only partially vaccinated, or don’t meet the criteria for being fully vaccinated according to the regulations, then you’ll be required to adhere to these rules.
Before you arrive in England Before arriving in England, you should do these things:
- Complete the passenger locator form, and do this two days prior to your departure date in the UK
- You will need to prove that you’ve been negative on the COVID-19 test. you’ll have completed 2 days prior to your departure to England
- Check that you’ve booked and have paid for the COVID-19 test, which you’ll be taking when you arrive in England.
- Once you’ve arrived in the UK After arriving in the UK, you have to do these things:
- Ensure you take your day 2 COVID-19 PCR tests
Test results
In the event that the result of the test is positive If the test comes positive, you’ll have to isolate yourself for 10 whole days. The day you’ll take the test will count as day zero. But, you can stop self-isolating by day 6 if you perform an lateral flow test between the days 5 and 6 of self-isolation, and
- The tests were performed for a minimum of 24hrs between each test.
- They were both negative
- There are no signs of high temperatures
- The test result are negative, the test results are
- There is no need to quarantine and you can take your time and enjoy your vacation

If your results from the test do not seem clear, then you must self-isolate during the 10 day period. Day zero is the day that you’ve taken the test. You can take another private test, and if it results in negative results You can end your self-isolation. If it’s positive, comply with the rules to ensure positive results. If you’d like to end the quarantine earlier, you can enroll in this Test to Release scheme.
How do I know the regulations applicable to Red List Countries?
No matter what the status of your vaccination is, if you’re coming from a red-listed country or have been in the country for at least 10-days, then you’ll be permitted entry into the UK in the event that you’re a British or Irish resident.

- Do a COVID-19 pre-departure test and it should be completed no more than 3 days prior to your departure time.
- Check to see if you’ve booked an accommodation package that includes quarantine

What exactly is PS2,285’s hotel Quarantine Rule?
After arriving upon arrival in The UK, you will be taken into one of approved Government hotels for a period of 10 days. During this time, you are required to pass tests on day 2 or day 7 of your quarantine. you are not allowed to leave your room.
You’ll be required to pay PS2,285 for your stay of 10 days, examinations and the cost of transportation. Infractions to these guidelines could be punished with large fines or even jail sentences. For instance, failing to pass your second or first test could result in the payment of a fine of up to PS2,000. Likewise, not revealing the country you traveled to or to one of the red-list countries 10 days prior to arriving could lead to a fine that could be as high as PS10 1,000!
Which countries are listed on The Red List?
There are no countries on the red list currently. However, check the official website to be up to current!
